Here is a list of Martabat PJ's current programmes. Click on the heading of each programme to learn more about it. Our overall strategy is to support the marginalised and the urban poor so that they can enhance their skills, reach their full potential, and influence change. We aim to do this through peer-led programmes of volunteering, social action projects, build skills, assets, competencies and foster healthy relationships; strengthen the environment; and transform systems, as well as amplify their voices with key decision makers. It is imperative to meaningfully engage the community to create positive social change for themselves, their families, and their communities in order for everyone to thrive.
A programmed aimed at addressing the prevalence of malnutrition and stunted growth among children of the economically marginalised urban community of Taman Medan Cahaya caused by a lack of dietary diversity. It focuses on the longer-term impact which is to instill a healthy dietary habit aimied at countering risks of non-communicable diseases.
This programmes intends to consult with youth, ages 18 – 25 years so as to understand their key challenges as well as to present to them viable alternatives to allow them to chart their future adulthood and to develop healthy living. Special focus will be given to open up opportunities and learnings regarding cybersecurity and to gain digital skills and knowledge for those wanting to pursue career in digital economy and/or to digitise existing small businesses.
A sustainable approach to raising awareness among affected communities and to collectively support wider reforms in the field of SRHR and community empowerment.
